Ask about Upper Face Wrinkle Treatment Near Weybridge
Lines across the forehead, between the eyebrows and around the outer eyes develop through repeated facial expressions. As skin elasticity changes, creases that once appeared only while raising the eyebrows, frowning or smiling may gradually remain visible when the face is relaxed.
Our upper face wrinkle treatment near Weybridge begins with an individual consultation rather than a standard one, two or three area injection package. The forehead, eyebrow position, glabellar muscles, crow’s feet and upper eyelid support are assessed together before any prescription treatment is considered.
Appointments take place at It’s Me & You Skin Clinic in Kingston upon Thames. Dr Laura Geige is the clinic’s Medical Director, a GDC-registered dentist and Level 7 Aesthetic Medicine Practitioner with experience in facial anatomy, injectable treatment planning and skin rejuvenation.
The intention is usually to soften prominent movement while maintaining an expressive, recognisable appearance. A completely immobile forehead or noticeably frozen smile is not treated as the automatic objective.
Please contact the clinic before purchasing or booking. Appointment availability, medical suitability and prescribing requirements must be confirmed first. Attending a consultation does not guarantee that an injectable treatment will be prescribed or administered during the same visit.
Who May Be Suitable?
A consultation may be appropriate for an adult concerned about forehead lines, frown lines, crow’s feet or a combination of these areas.
Suitability depends on the cause of the lines. Wrinkles principally related to skin laxity, sun damage, volume loss or deep static creasing may not respond sufficiently to reduced muscle activity alone.
Previous treatment must be disclosed, including the date, product, areas injected and any unwanted effects. Recently receiving another botulinum toxin product can influence the safety, dose and timing of further treatment.
Patients should disclose neuromuscular conditions, swallowing or breathing difficulties, previous allergic reactions, infection around the intended injection sites and medicines that may interfere with neuromuscular transmission.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding must also be discussed. NHS information advises against botulinum toxin treatment during pregnancy or breastfeeding because adequate safety has not been established.
Consultation alone remains an appropriate outcome where the patient is unsure, unsuitable or would prefer time to consider the recommendation.
