Tell Dr Laura Geige about prescribed medicines, non-prescription products and supplements. SkinPen has not been evaluated in several patient groups, including people taking anticoagulants or receiving immunosuppressive treatment, so full disclosure is important.

Please disclose previous fillers, anti-wrinkle injections, chemical peels, laser treatments, facial surgery or microneedling. Appropriate spacing may be required between procedures.

Treatment should not be performed over open wounds, sores or actively irritated skin. Active skin cancer within the proposed area, certain bleeding disorders, pregnancy, breastfeeding and current isotretinoin use are also listed contraindications in the device instructions.
