What Is NCTF 135 HA?

NCTF 135 HA is an injectable product developed by FILLMED. The manufacturer describes it as a skin-revitalisation formulation containing non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid alongside a complex of vitamins, amino acids, minerals, coenzymes, nucleic acids and other components.

The published formulation contains 5 mg/ml of hyaluronic acid. FILLMED distinguishes it from NCTF 135 and its topical NCTF Boost product, positioning NCTF 135 HA for concerns involving fine lines, hydration and skin density.

Unlike a conventional volumising filler, it is not primarily selected to enlarge the lips, project the cheeks or reshape the jawline. Its purpose is to support a fresher, smoother and better-hydrated-looking complexion while preserving familiar facial proportions.

The manufacturer identifies the face, including the periorbital region, neck, décolletage, backs of the hands and inner arms as potential treatment areas. Each area must be assessed separately because skin thickness, sensitivity and the cause of the concern can differ considerably.

Preparing for Your Appointment

Provide a complete medical history, including allergies, current health conditions and previous adverse reactions. You should also disclose earlier fillers, skin boosters, chemical peels, microneedling and energy-based treatments.

Tell Dr Laura Geige about prescribed medicines, non-prescription products and supplements. Patients taking anticoagulants or platelet-inhibiting medicines may have an increased risk of bruising or mild bleeding at the injection sites. Do not stop prescribed medication unless the clinician responsible for your care has told you to do so.

Select your appointment date with temporary visible effects in mind. Redness, small raised areas, tenderness or bruising may make the period immediately before a wedding, formal event or photography appointment less convenient.

Notify the clinic if you develop active acne lesions, an infection, inflamed skin, a rash or broken skin near the proposed treatment area. The manufacturer advises against injecting active acne lesions or skin affected by disease or alteration.

Where practical, attend without heavy make-up or false tan over the intended area. This allows the practitioner to examine the skin’s natural tone, texture and condition.

Eat normally, remain sensibly hydrated and leave enough time for a calm consultation. You should understand the proposed technique, alternatives, likely limitations and possible reactions before deciding whether to proceed.

NCTF Aftercare

Temporary redness, mild local inflammation, slight swelling, small bruises, minimal bleeding or discomfort can occur following NCTF injections. FILLMED’s patient leaflet advises contacting the practitioner if an inflammatory reaction lasts longer than one week or another unexpected effect develops.

Avoid rubbing, pressing or repeatedly touching the treated skin. Massage should only be performed where Dr Laura Geige has given specific instructions.

The manufacturer advises avoiding make-up for 12 hours after treatment. When cosmetics are resumed, use clean hands, brushes and applicators.

Prolonged exposure to sunlight, ultraviolet light and freezing temperatures should be avoided for at least 48 hours. Saunas and steam rooms should also be avoided during this initial period.

Strong retinoids, exfoliating acids, abrasive scrubs and intensive facial treatments should not be resumed immediately. Follow the individual skincare guidance given at the clinic.

Medium or deep chemical peels and dermabrasion should not be performed at the same time as the injections. Tell other practitioners when you have recently received injectable treatment before arranging another procedure.

Contact the clinic promptly if you experience severe or increasing pain, unusual discolouration, visual disturbance, spreading redness, progressive swelling or another symptom that concerns you. Urgent symptoms require immediate clinical assessment.
