What Is Non Surgical Chin Enhancement?

Chin filler is an injectable aesthetic treatment that uses dermal filler to alter the appearance of the chin. Depending on the patient’s anatomy, carefully placed product may be used to add projection, refine the chin point, soften an uneven outline or create a smoother transition into the jawline.

The procedure is sometimes described as chin augmentation, chin contouring or profile balancing. It does not involve an implant or surgical alteration of the bone. Preparation for Chin Augmentation

Begin by contacting the clinic before making a purchase. We will confirm current availability and arrange the appropriate consultation so that suitability can be considered before any injectable treatment is planned.

During the consultation, provide a complete and accurate medical history. This should include allergies, previous aesthetic procedures, dental treatment, current health conditions and any history of reactions to injectable products or local anaesthetic.

Tell the doctor about all medicines and supplements you take. Some products may influence bruising or bleeding, but prescribed medication must never be stopped unless the clinician responsible for prescribing it has advised you to do so.

Please inform us if you have recently undergone dental work or have dental treatment planned. The timing of certain appointments may need to be considered when arranging dermal filler.

Arrive with clean skin around the chin, mouth and lower face where practical. Heavy make up can be removed at the clinic, but arriving without it allows more time for assessment, photography and treatment preparation.

Avoid alcohol shortly before the appointment, as it may increase the likelihood of bruising for some people. Good hydration and a normal meal beforehand may help you feel more comfortable during the visit.

Think about the change you would genuinely like to see rather than choosing a volume of filler in advance. Reference photographs may help explain a preference, but your plan must be guided by your own facial anatomy rather than copying another person’s result.

If you develop an infection, cold sore, inflamed skin, significant dental problem or feel unwell before the appointment, contact the clinic. It may be more appropriate to postpone treatment until the issue has settled.

Chin Filler Aftercare

Temporary swelling, tenderness, redness or bruising may occur after treatment. The chin can initially appear firmer or more prominent than expected, so the result should be allowed time to settle before it is judged.

Avoid pressing, rubbing or repeatedly checking the treated area. Unless specifically directed by your practitioner, do not massage the chin or attempt to move the filler yourself.

For the initial period advised by the clinic, avoid strenuous exercise, excessive alcohol, steam rooms, saunas and intense heat. These activities may make temporary swelling or bruising more noticeable.

Be mindful of pressure from hands, tight clothing, helmets or sleeping directly on the chin. A comfortable sleeping position that avoids unnecessary compression may be recommended during the first nights.

Make up and skincare can usually be resumed according to your individual instructions. Keep the treatment area clean and avoid using strong exfoliating products or active skincare until the skin has recovered from the injections.

Follow the clinic’s advice regarding dental work, facial treatments and other aesthetic procedures after filler. Please do not arrange another practitioner to inject or manipulate the same area without first discussing the existing treatment.
