Microneedling is more than passing needles over the skin. Suitability, needle depth, sterile technique, skin preparation and aftercare all influence risk and outcome. Arneta Gailė is a certified microneedling practitioner, qualified Dental Nurse and VTCT Level 2 Beauty Therapist who works within her training and the clinic’s treatment protocols.
Her dental nursing background contributes experience in patient care, hygiene, cross infection control, accurate record keeping and calm communication. These principles are particularly relevant to a procedure in which skin integrity, sterile equipment and appropriate aftercare matter.
The treatment may be considered for the appearance of acne scars, other healed scars, enlarged pores, fine lines, stretch marks and some texture concerns. It is not automatically suitable for active acne, inflamed rosacea, infection, open skin or recent burns.
Microneedling is priced at £180 per session. Consultation and suitability assessment are required before treatment, and a course is not recommended automatically. Results develop gradually and vary, and the procedure cannot guarantee scar removal, pore elimination or skin tightening.
